If a customer buys sawn timber stemming from the sustainable forest operations of Precious Woods, he protects the climate. Why? Global deforestation accounts for about 20% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Especially in the tropics, forests are deforested and converted to pastures, cropland or plantations.
