Precious Woods Europe and Ecotimber

After a close partnership of 8 years Ecotimber joined the Precious Woods Group. Precious Woods Europe is - and has been for the past decade - Europe's market leader on tropical FSC-timber. Ecotimber's website will be kept up-to-date. New contact details have been included on the homepage (http://www.ecotimber.co.uk).      Ecotimber's founder Hubert Kwisthout has accepted a position at FSC International as FSC Network Liaison Manager. Hubert and his partner Anna Holmes have played an instrumental role in introducing FSC-timber on the UK market. Precious Woods Europe will try to consolidate and expand what Hubert and Anna built up.   Most of the timber supplied by Ecotimber came from Precious Woods' Brazilian operations and was shipped via Precious Woods Europe. In that sense not much will change. Increasingly Precious Woods is securing other sources of FSC-timber to meet the growing demand for FSC on UK and European markets.
