To us quality implies much more than supplying FSC timber. It includes giving professional advise about timber and its applications. As well as about characteristics of different timber species. Precious Woods Europe uses the following quality labels:
FSC label Timber that carries the FSC label is from well-managed forests. FSC certification is beneficial to people and nature. It can lead to greater transparency and bring companies into dialogue with communities. More information is found under sustainability.
CE-marking
The EU increasingly requests companies to get CE-marking for their products. Products with CE-marking are supplied with relevant data, e.g. on durability, fire performance, isolation and noise reduction. For cladding CE marking is compulsory, for constructive use it is still voluntary. Precious Woods Europe offers both. With. Should you wish CE marking for your constructive timber clearly specify this when ordering. ISO 9001 To guarantee the quality of operations within Precious Woods Europe, all procedures and instructions have been documented. This is done in conformity with ISO 9001. Frequent updates and inspections ensure that our operations continue to follow proper procedures.
