Precious Woods Europe B.V., the Dutch subsidiary of the Precious Woods Group (www.preciouswoods.com), has emerged from the acquisition of the company A. van den Berg B.V. by Precious Woods in 2005.

Precious Woods Europe is the leading supplier of FSC-certified tropical hardwood in Europe. It imports and markets more than 50 tropical wood species and has its own installations for the remanufacturing, grading, kiln-drying and stock-keeping of sawn timber. These activities are underpinned by fifty years of experience with tropical hardwood applications, extensive research into working properties, advanced wood machining and drying facilities as well as renowned technical advice and in-situ guidance.

Our customers range from small timber merchants to medium and large-scale timber processing businesses, do-it-yourself shops, garden centres, construction firms and government agencies.
